The company’s 2007/08 $9.5 million was the single largest capital expansion project where several key strategic investments were executed with Bob’s leadership. These investments led to the company’s first major packaging change in over 50 years. Several long term manufacturing equipment upgrades were implemented along with the addition of a new 20,000 sq. foot, $3.5 million distribution center, which has enabled the company to expand newly acquired international and domestic sales from this on-site center. Since that time the company has continued to expand geographically and diversify its product lines in becoming a “Snack Solutions” company with over 1,250 unique items in distribution.
He proudly serves the Western New York community by participating on various boards and committees such as the University at Buffalo Foundation board of trustees since 2002 (Chairman of the Finance committee, also serving on the Executive & Nominations committees), Dopkins and Company board of advisors 2011, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership board of directors (2004-2010), Key Bank’s board of advisors (2002-2007), the UB Athletic advisory board and most recently, the Niagara University advisory board. Additionally, he also devotes time volunteering as an instructor for the Junior Achievement program in the Clarence community.
He was the recipient of the 2001 Business First 40 Under 40 Award and the 2003 Young Alumnus Achievement Award from Buffalo State College. In 2004, he was invited to join the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a group of more than 9,500 young global business leaders from 75 nations.
