Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Pkg chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos)
  • 1/4 c. (half stick) Margarine, melte
  • Perry's Vanilla Ice Cream (48 oz.), softened
  • 1 jar Hot fudge sauce
  • 1 regular size container whipped topping

Directions

Reserve 1 row chocolate sandwich cookies. Crush the rest in a zipper lock plastic bag with rolling in. Combine cookies in large mixing bowl with melted margarine. Press into bottom of 13x9 metal or glass pan. Freeze for 15 minutes. Spread 1/2 the vanilla ice cream on top of cookie crust. return to freezer, 15 min. Heat hot fudge, and spread on top of ice cream, the amount is to your taste. Spread with remaining ice cream. Spread all whipped topping on top of ice cream. Coarsely chop remaining cookies and sprinkle on top whipped topping freeze for minimum 4 hrs. Let soften slightly before cutting and serving. Tip! Dip knife into hot water before cutting for smooth cutting right out of the freezer.
