All regular full-time team members are eligible to participate in our benefits programs the first of the month after their hire date.
Perry’s contributes a percentage of the cost for participation in the group health insurance plan. The amount of this credit is determined by position, plan and enrollment status. We also offer an opt-out credit to those eligible team members that choose not to enroll in the group medical plan.
Regular team members have the option to elect basic dental coverage. Dental premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis.
A company-paid Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment policy is provided to our eligible team members. Additional life insurance may be purchased at the team member’s own cost.
The 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan is designed to help our team members save for retirement, share in company profits and, at the same time, reduce current income taxes. Team members may defer up to 18% of their income annually in the 401(k) plan. After one year of service, team members become eligible for a company matching contribution.
Full- and part-time team members who have completed one year of service are eligible for tuition assistance. Courses must be job or business related and must be pre-approved by the management team leader.
Perry’s offers both Dependent Care and Medical Flexible Spending Reimbursement plans to all our regular full-time team members. This benefit allows for a specified number of tax-free dollars to be allocated to a flexible spending reimbursement account to use for medical and dependent care expenses.
