Q. I can’t seem to find my favorite flavor at the grocery store. Why is that?
A. There are a few reasons why you may not be able to grab your favorite Perry’s Ice Cream off the shelf. First of all, some of our products are only available seasonally. For example, stock up on Piece of Cake when you see it because this flavor is only available January through September, we have to make room for holiday favorites like Pumpkin Pie, White Christmas and Peppermint Stick! Other flavors, like Panda Paws™, are available all year round. In addition, several of our flavors, like Super Hero, are only available at ice cream stands. Lastly, because of the popularity of Perry’s, your favorite ice cream may be sold out. No need to worry though – Perry’s is continually sending out shipments to a store near you. Q. I’m looking for a specific Perry’s flavor that I have not found at my local supermarket. Can I purchase ice cream directly from your ice cream plant?
A. As an ice cream manufacturer, Perry’s does not sell directly to consumers from our plant.
Q. How many ice cream flavors does Perry’s Ice Cream make?
A. This year, Perry’s has made more than 95 different flavors of ice cream from Premium to No Sugar Added to Custard. This number increases to more than 130 when you include our other products such as Frozen Yogurt, Sherbet and Novelties.
Q. How many gallons of ice cream does Perry’s make every year?
A. Perry’s produces 12 million gallons of ice cream annually.
Q. What does “French-style” ice cream mean?
A. Just like regular ice cream, French-style ice cream is made from a mixture of dairy products, containing at least 10% milkfat. However, French-style also contains at least 1.4% egg yolk solids.
Q. What is the difference between Sherbet and Sorbet?
A. Sherbet has a milkfat content between 1% and 2%, where Sorbet does not contain any dairy ingredients.
Q. Are there any Perry’s products that do not contain milk?
A. Yes. Perry’s Lemon Ice and Slush Pops are milk-free.
Q. Is Perry’s Ice Cream gluten free?
A. Perry’s has many flavors that are gluten free, including vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. To see if your favorite flavor contains gluten, check out the Nutritional Facts section of each individual flavor on this website.
Q. I am allergic to nuts. How can I be sure that my favorite flavor does not contain any nut products?
A. All of the ingredients that Perry’s uses are listed for each individual flavor on this website. However, even though some of our products may not contain nuts, it is important to know that Perry’s does work with several nut products at our plant. We cannot guarantee that your flavor did not come in contact with any nuts.
Q. Is Perry’s Ice Cream kosher?
A. All of our ice cream flavors are kosher except for Bubblegum.
Q. My school is having a fund-raiser. Can Perry’s donate some ice cream?
A. Perry’s Ice Cream is proud to be a good corporate citizen. We receive hundreds of requests for donations and we try to honor as many as possible that fit within our criteria.
