Bob leads the development of long-term business strategies and goals for Perry’s, as well as oversees all aspects of the organization. In 2000, he followed in the footsteps of his father-in-law and long-time mentor, Tom Perry, to become president/CEO. Prior to this role, he held the positions of vice president of administration and director of human resources for Perry’s.
Bob proudly serves the Western New York community by participating on various boards and committees, including the Buffalo Niagara Partnership board of directors, KeyBank’s board of advisors and the University at Buffalo Foundation board of trustees.
Bob was the recipient of the 2001 Business First 40 Under 40 Award and the 2003 Young Alumnus Achievement Award from Buffalo State College. In 2004, he was invited to join the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a group of more than 9,500 young global business leaders from 75 nations.
It is Bob’s ambition to continue the Perry’s heritage of offering a unique variety of product offerings while maintaining a passionate commitment to team member safety, consistent quality and ongoing growth.
Brian Perry represents the fourth generation of this 87-year-old family business started by his great grandfather, H. Morton Perry. Brian brings a wealth of industry knowledge and heritage as executive vice president, while serving as the company’s liaison to the industry, community and political arena. His 26 years of experience, numerous contacts and an understanding of how to get things done make him the company’s “jack of all trades.”
In addition to his Perry’s responsibilities, Brian is on the executive board of directors of the International Ice Cream Association and the board of directors of All Star Dairy. Brian also volunteers his time and resources to many community organizations, including the Akron Lions Club, Village of Akron Planning Board, Junior Achievement of Western New York and WNY Wellness Works.
Most recently, Brian helped establish an industrial refrigeration curriculum at ECC to meet the new federal guidelines for ammonia system safety and operations.
