“Perry’s Ice Cream Company has had a long-standing relationship with the Buffalo Bisons,” said Robert Denning, President and CEO of Perry’s. “We felt it was time we dedicated a flavor celebrating this prominent organization in the Western New York community.”
The ice cream is available only in “All Mine” half pints in honor of Chip’s jersey number, 1/2. In addition to being served at Dunn Tire Park for all of the Bisons’ home games, Bisons Bases Loaded will be available at selected supermarkets and convenience stores throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
This Friday’s game will feature the Bisons Bases Loaded as the “Flavor of the Game.” After a pre-game unveiling ceremony, Perrywinkle, the Perry’s Ice Cream mascot, will throw the first pitch. Select fans in the stands will receive a free half pint of the new flavor during the game.
Bisons Bases Loaded is the newest flavor in the “All Mine” half pint line, joining such flavors as Vanilla, Peanut Butter Cup Craze, Mint Chip, Hot Fudge Sundae, Chocolate Panda Paws and Cherry Panda Paws.
