
Winners Receive Diamond Jewelry Through "Dishing Up Diamonds" Contest
Buffalo, N.Y. - May 21, 2008 - Perry's Ice Cream, Inc., a pride of Western New York company located in Akron, N.Y., recently celebrated 75 years of making great tasting, creamy ice cream. The family owned and operated Perry's marked its introduction into the commercial ice cream making business with the giveaway of hand-selected diamonds.
Three lucky grand prize winners of Perry's web-based, Dishing Up Diamonds contest received a special delivery of diamond jewelry valued at $3,300 from Perry Winkle (Perry's Ice Cream Mascot) on May 2, courtesy of Firth Jewelers of Niagara Falls, N.Y. In addition, 75 first prizewinners won a year's supply of ice cream and 500 second prizewinners won a coupon for a free 56 oz. of Perry's ice cream.
The three grand prizewinners are David Kawalerski of Elma, Pam Fiegl of Wyoming and Marcia Lewis of Niagara Falls.
