Perry's Ice Cream and The Buffalo Bills Search for The "Sweetest Kid of the Week"

Regional Ice Cream Company To Honor Outstanding Students With Prizes From The Buffalo Bills

Perry's Ice Cream and the Buffalo Bills are

teaming up once again as they start their search for Buffalo's "Sweetest Kid of the

Week". Nominate your favorite kid in grades 4-8 now through October 20. Every

Friday, a winner will be selected as Perry's "Sweetest Kid of the Week" and will

receive a Buffalo Bills Prize Pack. One grand prize winner will be selected from the

weekly winners and be dubbed "Perry's Sweetest Kid", and receive an ice cream

party at their school with a Buffalo Bills player!

Robert Denning, president and chief executive officer, Perry's Ice Cream said,

"Perry's is dedicated to supporting our local schools. Our partnership with the Buffalo

Bills for the ‘Sweetest Kid of the Week' promotion gives us the honorable opportunity

to celebrate a special student who is making a difference in our community and in

the lives of others."

Last year, Darian Whitmore from Blasdell Elementary was nominated by his teachers

for his ability to face challenges with a smile. He faced many hardships at a young

age and still ran into school every day with the willingness to work hard and help

others. That is why Perry's Ice Cream and the Buffalo Bills chose Darian to be the

grand prize winner. Buffalo Bills player Marcus Stroud and the Perry's Ice Cream

team went to Blasdell Middle School for an ice cream party for Darian and his entire

school!

"The Bills and Perry's are proud to recognize outstanding children that go above and

beyond in the classroom and in the community," said Bruce Popko, Bills senior vice

president of business development. "We congratulate all of the local schools for

participating in the "Sweetest Kid of the Week" and we look forward to recognizing

another exceptional student this year."
