Recipe: Banana Cream Pie Milkshake

A quick and easy summer recipe – so little work and so much yum!

Banana Cream Pie Milkshake

Perry's Ice Cream Banana Cream Pie Milkshake

Makes 1 large milkshake or 2 very small milkshakes 

You will have enough graham cracker pie crumbs for 2 milkshakes, so feel free to save the remainder in a ziplock bag and refrigerate for a future milkshake. Or if you have two milkshake-loving folks at home, double the recipe and make two shakes!

Perry's Ice Cream Banana Cream Pie

Milkshake:

  • 1 cup Perry’s Banana Cream Pie
  • 3 tablespoons – 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1 ripe banana (optional)
  • Vanilla extract (optional)

Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • Whipped cream


In a blender, combine the ice cream, banana (optional), milk, 1/2 cup of the graham cracker crumbs  (optional), and vanilla extract (optional). Blend until smooth. Pour into your favorite glass (or a jar!), and top with whipped cream and a pinch of graham cracker crumbs.

To make the graham cracker pie crumbs, preheat the oven to 350°F. Stir together the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Turn out onto a small baking sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Bonus – the whole house fills with graham cracker aroma goodness – better than any scented candle! 🙂

*Serving tip from our Facebook friend Debbie N.: Place your serving glasses or jars in the freezer before making the shakes. They will keep the shakes nice and frosty!
