Perry’s Ice Cream Celebrates Its 95th Anniversary

It was 1918 when H. Morton Perry learned troubling news from his doctor – he was to to give up his career as a broom maker, since he had become allergic to something in the broom making process. Morton wasn’t a man that would be troubled with such news. Soon enough he found another career path. On November 13, 1918 H. Morton Perry signed a deed that made him the owner of a horse, a wagon, a milk route and some milk bottling equipment. And the rest is history!

Thank You for the 95 Years of Perry's!

Thank You for the 95 Years of Perry’s!

This week our Perry’s Ice Cream family celebrates 95 years of craftsmanship and service, and 95 years of community support – there certainly would not be Perry’s Ice Cream today if generation after generation of Western New Yorkers and Northern Pennsylvanians wouldn’t have chosen Perry’s as their preferred brand of ice cream.

During this special celebratory week we are remembering our heritage through a special photo gallery that will take you to to certain milestones in our 95 year history.

You also have a chance to win some Perry’s with one condition – you must demonstrate your Perry’s Ice Cream knowledge. We are posting a question a day on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and every correct comment gives you a chance to win. The more answers you guess correctly, the more chances you have to win, with the top award being the special prize of one year’s supply of Perry’s.

More than anything this week we would like to thank you – our consumers and customers – for making the 95 years possible. With a great team here are Perry’s, who helped us along the way, we are gearing up for at least another 95 years!

Please join us in this celebration though the above activities and good luck with the trivia!
