Working at Perry’s: Supporting our team through everyday wellness programs

It’s our job to spend most of our day thinking about ice cream. It’s as cool as it sounds, but we know team member satisfaction goes beyond having a sweet gig. For Perry’s, putting in “enough of the good stuff” also means supporting our team members in and outside of work.

We offer a variety of wellness benefits to support our team members in their role and future. Designed to help our team members find success physically, mentally, financially and in work-life balance, these programs include:

EAP (Employee Assistance Program) – This no-cost benefit provides a full suite of support resources to our team members and their family members in are areas of Personal Wellbeing, Family & Relationships, Financial & Legal and Work & Career.   

Certified financial coaches are available to help with investing, banking, credit, budgeting and saving solutions. Licensed counselors provide mental health, grief and relationship support 24/7. Additional legal resources, child and elder care assistance, a pet help center and online training programs are available for whatever life serves up when our team members need it most.

Wellness Incentive – Our belief in the value of wellness and preventive care is so strong we offer a financial incentive for participation in our annual wellness program. Upon completion of the program, Perry’s Ice Cream covers up to 80% of health insurance premiums!  As though that weren’t sweet enough, friendly workplace competitions like step challenges, wellness coaches, and risk-specific coaching offer even more incentive to get active.

Financial Wellness – To set our team members up for success in retirement, pre-tax 401(k) and Roth 401(k) options are available. we even offer a company matching contribution to enhance the financial wellbeing of our team members.

Work-life Balance – Everyone needs time for what they enjoy most. Paid time off, paid leave of absence programs and a variety of work schedules are a few of the ways we promote work life balance.
