Akron, N.Y. – May 15, 2017 – Perry’s Ice Cream, a fourth generation, family owned ice cream company headquartered in Western New York, today announced an expansion of its products into nine Wegmans Virginia-area store locations: Alexandria, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Lake Manassas, Leesburg, Potomac, Charlottesville, Midlothian and Short Pump.
A variety of 20 Perry’s family size flavors will be exclusively available in-stores this month including classic favorites such as Panda Paws, All-American and Mint-Ting-A-Ling. New items such as Candy Bar and Cold Brew Coffee & Cream will also be featured. Seasonal flavors to follow.

We anticipate solid support around their favorite hometown flavors becoming available and look forward to reaching a whole new market of consumers with our distinctive slow cooked, one-batch-at-a-time ice cream,” added Denning.
The 99 year-old-company has been a Wegmans partner for over 30 years and holds strongly as the #1 ice cream brand in Upstate New York. The brand will kick off an official marketing campaign in the Virginia market this month.
