The Scoop About Us
Perry’s Ice Cream is a Great Lakes regional brand that was founded in 1918 when H. Morton Perry purchased a milk route in Akron, NY – a small suburb just east of Buffalo. Using a family recipe for ice cream given to him by his mother, Morton began mixing small batches of ice cream on the kitchen stove in 1932 – beginning Perry’s Ice Cream as we know it today!
Flash forward to present day, Perry’s Ice Cream is a 4th generation owned and operated business. Using the same recipe passed down for generations, Perry’s Ice Cream is still slow cooked, one batch at a time. Perry’s uses fresh, local, high quality milk and cream to proudly craft and slow-cook its ice cream for an exceptionally creamy texture and taste that consumers have fallen in love with for over 100 years. Perry’s is the 26th largest ice cream brand in the country with products in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
