Their integrated sustainability culture requires consideration of people, planet and performance. At Perry’s, the performance aspect includes two distinct business strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization through growth and systems improvement.

A Path Towards The Future

“As a 102-year-old family company, purpose and business go hand in hand,” said Gayle Perry Denning, vice president of strategic branding and sustainability. “Identifying and measuring the results of our meaningful goals around people, planet and performance enhances Perry’s brand loyalty, supports healthy growth and provides a path towards the future.  Certainly, we want to continue providing the “Good Stuff” well into our second century in business and beyond.”

In 2010, the Perry’s Sustainability Team formed from organization leaders to develop the company’s vision and long-term sustainability goals. Today, sustainability is integrated into Perry’s annual corporate goals. The team is responsible for engaging fellow team members in sustainability through pro-active and consistent internal communications, company challenges, annual sustainability awards and events.
